Trash Talk Tom with our Global Environmental Initiatives supports efforts, through our own or to partner
with others on the quest to create and protect areas, from small urban green spaces, to parks, to small and large tracts of lands from wide open grasslands, deserts, mountains to areas such as wetlands,marshes, rivers, lakes, seas and oceans, keeping nature in its natural unspoiled state to flourish with trees, vegetation, wildlife, and marine protected areas, where sealife, ecosystems,coral reefs, underwater forests can be bountiful, and the water is clean thus providing a safe natural environment for all to thrive.

Our society needs to protect these areas either in conservation, where the natural resources will be used in a sustainable manner, without impacting the resources for years or decades to come, or Preservation, where the land or marine area to be left undisturbed, left in there pristine condition, and humans could have limited access, to enjoy the beauty of nature, observe and study wildlife, use for educational purposes, and hope to be inspired to preserve areas globally, so future generations can enjoy. Many environments around the globe are damaged and are in need of restoration, because of the lack of respect or regulations in past years, the environment was severly damaged, removing large amounts of resources in a unstatainable way, from clear cutting the forest, strip mining to over fishing, pollution, illegal dumping, on land and water bodies and oceans, litter saturation, or contaiminated by chemicals, and substances that harm the environment.

The list of impacts are many and, that is why it is imperative, to take actions now to conserve,preserve and restore the beauty and natural resources of our earth. For centuries many places have been set aside, for example royal gardens, castles with beautifully manicured gardens and natural forests surrounding as a backdrop, conservatories for the public to admire the beauty of nature and wildlife, then, starting over a century ago, the conservation movement in the USA blossomed, creating national parks,urban parks, coastal regions, mountain ranges to the everglades,and many more. Globally governments, organizations, individuals have championed the movement, from Patagonia,to Austrailia, including, the great barrier reef, to Asia, Africa, to the north and south pole, setting aside protected areas,land and marine, safeguarding these areas in there natural state, preserving the ecosystems and biodiversity of native plants and wildlife protected from damage. It is essential these wild,natural spaces are preserved to inspire all of us, to be the best stewards, admiring and appreciating the beauty of our home,the earth. But more can be done to set aside protected areas.Global Environmental initiatives forsees working to preserve even greater amounts of protected areas. Our endeavor is not only Governments can protect land, but Individuals and corporations can step forward and obtain areas, from small urban greenspaces, to large tracts of land, creating conservation trusts and legacy for generations to come.
